Club Events

A cycling club without social activities is like a bike without wheels. Steveston Velo organizes social gatherings alongside a wide range of cycling events, both local and beyond. Our members take part in fondos, long weekend trips across BC, overseas cycling trips, and occasional overnight rides that turn a simple ride into something more memorable. From big organized events to smaller, self-supported adventures, there’s a mix of structure and freedom depending on what people are looking for.

These shared experiences push riders beyond the usual weekly routine, whether that’s tackling new terrain, putting in bigger days in the saddle, or just getting out of the city for a few days. More importantly, it creates space for people to actually connect, not just ride side by side and head home. The goal is simple: ride together more often, explore further, and build a stronger community on and off the bike.
